Grand Bois Centre

From 1984 to 2005, devotees in Grand Bois gathered in different locations to have mangal-arati and other programmes together. In 2005 that was to change. Mr. Sonah Rohee, a generous well-wisher of ISKCON donated a quarter acre of land at Sewsagur Lane, Grand Bois, for the purpose of building a permanent ISKCON Centre.

On the 21st of May 2005, the foundation stone of the Sri Sri Gaura Nitai (Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nityananda)Mandir in Grand Bois was laid. Temple construction began and has now reached the stage where the dome will soon be constructed.

The residents of Grand Bois and the neighbouring villages are very enthusiastic to complete the temple and install Deities whom they may serve.
