1975- The first western devotees from the ISKCON centre in Zambia arrived to start preaching Krishna consciousness in Mauritius

A house was rented at Wellington Street, in Quatre Bornes where 3 devotees resided and organised preaching programmes.
In August the preaching centre shifted to humble facilities offered by Mr. Gungah ,a life-member in the Rose-Belle Shivala compound which he had constructed
On the 22nd of August, Srila Prabhupada received an official invitation from the Prime Minister of Mauritius, Sir Seewoosagar Ramgoolam, to come to Mauritius to meet him.![]()
On the 30th of September, Srila Prabhupada arrived in Mauritius, from Mumbai. He stayed until the 5th of October and returned again on 24th October for a few days. Prabhanu Das ACBSP who accompanied Srila Prabhupada remained behind and became the first Temple President of Mauritius. He returned to the United States in 1977. Sriniketana Das ACBSP, a new brahmacari, also arrived and stayed on to develop ISKCON Mauritius. He later became the Temple President for the ISKCON Vedic Farm at Bon Acceuil
1976- In October, devotees moved to a small rented house in Port-Louis. Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai (Deities of Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nityananda, the first Deities in ISKCON Mauritius were installed)
1977- The devotees moved into a bungalow at Roches-Noires for 2 months

Mr. Sewpaul allowed the devotees to use the top floor of his home in Lallmatie as an ISKCON centre

1980- Mr.Gowtam Teelock generously donated 5 acres of agricultural land at Bon Acceuil to ISKCON
1981- The ISKCON Vedic Farm project began under the leadership of Sriniketana Das ACBSP and Arjuna Das ACBSP, a Mauritian disciple of Srila Prabhupada who had served Srila Prabhupada in India
1982- The preaching centre in Rose Hill moved to a house in Quatre-Bornes, known as the “White House”
1983- On the eve of Janmashtami, Sri Sri Radha Golokananda were installed in the White House. The first cow was donated to the Goshalla at ISKCON Vedic farm
1984- In mid-August the first Ratha-yatra in Mauritius took place in Triolet
The first padayatra of its kind in ISKCON was inaugurated. It continued for 18 months
1987- In January, the White House had to be vacated so Sri Sri Radha-Golokananda were transferred to ISKCON Vedic Farm until Their new residence on Their own land at Phoenix was built
1990- On Janmashtami, Sri Sri Radha Golokananda were welcomed to Hare Krishna Land, the first phase of Their future temple. Under the guidance of His Holiness Giriraj Maharaja, the GBC of Mauritius at that time, the first large-scale Janmashtami was organised at Hare Krishna Land
1991- The first large scale Janamashtami at the ISKCON Vedic farm was organised and together with Hare Krsna Land, they received about 10 000 guests
Early 1990s- His Holiness Krishna Dasa Maharaja, a visiting sannyasa preacher, was successful in convincing the local government to officially change the name of Beau-Bois (where ISKCON Vedic farm is situated) to Vrindavan
2000- Sri Sri Krishna Balarama were installed in August in Their grand temple at ISKCON Vedic farm, Vrindavan, Bon-Acceuil
