ISKCON 50 in Punjabi Bagh


On 13th Aug'15, the entire community of devotees at ISKCON Punjabi Bagh came together to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Srila Prabhupada's Historic Jaladuta journey.

It officially marked the launch of Iskcon's 50th Anniversary as well.

It was an evening of expression of gratitude to Srila Prabhupada and about the opportunity we have for celebrating 50th Anniversary.

ISKCON 50 Prabhupada Stamps

KUALA LUMPUR – On July 11, 1966, Srila Prabhupada officially registered his International Society for Krishna Consciousness in New York. At that time, he had one small storefront on New York’s Lower East-Side, and a handful of students. Today, there are nearly four hundred ISKCON centers all over the world, and thousands of ISKCON devotees. ISKCON is now gearing up for its 50th anniversary, with plans for celebratory events all over the world throughout 2016.

HH Sivarama Swami’s debate on the existence of God – 19th June 2015


On the 19th June 2015, HH Sivarama Swami had a mock debate on the existence of God at the Pandava Sena Alumni program.

HG Bhuta Bhavana prabhu played the role of an aggressive atheistic interviewer but HH Sivarama Swami soundly defeated him.

Ratha Yatra - Chant For Change


A mega international kirtan-celebration: "Chant for Change" is being organized on the occasion of the Nabakalebara of Lord Jagannath in Jagannath Puri Dham. On Saturday July 18th (the actual day of Nabakelabara), all the 4 Vaishnav Sampradayas will be performing sankirtan in temples and mathas around the world to mark the welcoming of Lord Jagannath, Baldev & Subadra in Their new form. It is a major opportunity to unify devotees around the world in the yuga-dharma of nama-sankirtana. In Mauritius "Chant for Change" will be celebrated with a Ratha-yatra.

Kirtan Sangas During Purushottam Maas


The auspicious month of Purushottam is a perfect opportunity for devotees to increase their hearing and chanting of the Holy Names, study of the holy scriptures and engage in increased service to the Lord. When devotees come together to chant, study or serve together, the effects of their prayer are multiplied and become very attractive to the Lord. To give the devotees the opportunity to chant the Holy Names together, Kirtan Sangas throughout Mauritius have been organised. This is the schedule:
